Day 73

Mood: Mind blown

“Okay what’s with you guys, why don’t you want me to pass?” Justice asked the clown twins standing in his way. “I had it up to here with you.” Justice put up his hand higher than his head. “And especially now I’m up against you two. You don’t stand a chance.” Justice made a fist and dark energy pulsated from it.

“Then show us, what you got.” The twins said and they both drew butterfly knives connected by energy chains. “Ouroboros!” They both chanted as their knives transformed into snake heads.

“Snake... snake... snake!” Justice joked and stepped back making a martial arts stance. They both threw their knives at the dark knight who bent backward and let the glowing blades pass over him. When they stretched far enough he grabbed them, though normally contact would fill the person with so much pain they would faint. Justice simply took them into his hands and grasped them tightly. “Hey, these are dangerous, you could hurt someone with these.” Justice said sarcastically and then discharged darkness from his hand and it infected the green and red chains, turning them black. Jester and Harlequin then threw the other part of the chains and the snakes at the end opened their jaws and viciously hissed at him. “That’s not very nice, you don’t hiss at strangers.” Justice said and suddenly the chains fell to the ground, the darkness suffocating the strange reptilian life forms. Jester and Harlequin gasped simultaneously and closed in on Justice and both gave spinning back kicks to Justice who dropped their  weapons and blocked the kicks and threw them over onto the ground. They picked up their knives and stood up and threw them again. “You two don’t learn easily huh? The curse of being a god I see. Destruction Ray!” Justice threw a blast of energy at the sky and it started to rain down purple light, knocking the knives out of the twins’ hands and crippling them. “Oh come on, you didn’t expect to win did you?” Justice said and shrugged his shoulders, the twins stood up with knives in hand again, ready for more. “Don’t blame me if you get hurt, you put this on yourself, I got to win, you got to lose. That’s how this goes.” Justice said as he drew his sword, finally declaring his seriousness.

“Why so serious?” The twins asked him and smiled. They jumped in and attacked with a quick stabbing motion, Justice parried the attacks and countered with a long slash. The twins circled Justice and continued their dance of torture. Justice continued to block their attacks, though very impressive, there was a unique rhythm to it that Justice instantly got and used against them. He thought that if he disturbed one of them for even a half-second that he could break their pattern. “Come on boy, feel the pleasure of pain!” They both screamed and laughed in their shrill manner, their eyes glowing under their fedoras.

“The only one feeling pain is going to be you two.” Justice said as he started to dissimilate and appeared behind the brothers.

“Bats?” They both questioned what they saw.

“Demonic Megiddo!” Justice created two orbs of dark energy and smashed them into their stomachs. “Screw you and your patterns!” Justice roared and created more dark orbs and rained them down upon the twins. “I had it with you guys getting in my way. And now this little piggy went boom!” Justice created one colossal dark orb and smashed it down, pulsating with energy.

“Boom?” The twins uttered as the dark orb went to crush them but they disappeared, turning into ephemeral snakes and escaped. “Curse you, you and your will of D-” The twins said, their last word being muffled as they vanished in the wind.

“D? Dammit it doesn’t matter!” Justice thought but then began to run hoping that no one will stop him but there were more to come.
