Mood: Sigh
Kokoro spun in circles, performing a ballet number, she moved gracefully and swift. She seemed as if she was perfecting it for years, it was absolutely flawless. The water only reflected her peerless form and the water just barely rippled from her steps. She jumped and landed expertly on one foot. She kept on spinning, as if no one was watching. She felt at peace when she danced, it kept her distracted from the war. She didn’t want to kill anyone, then again she didn’t think any sane person would want to kill for sport. She just wanted to prove her power to her father. However he wanted her to be normal and her mother made her take dancing like she did because she had the talent. Now dancing was her way of reducing stress. Her peers thought she was insane, her skills were unmatched but she always strived to be better, better than perfect. She wanted to be the best, better than her teachers, because maybe then her father would notice her that she had skill, she had promise. However he did not want her to follow in his blood stained footsteps. She remembered what he said, trying to convince her not to because she wouldn’t handle it and she stopped. She took a deep breath, just noticing her irregular breathing. She then started to hear clapping, a round of applause for her private performance.
“Who’s there?” Kokoro went to her side and grabbed her whip the Vampire Killer. It extended, a bright silver chain fell to the floor, limp but ready to strike out. Approaching her was Fenril.
“I’ve always been a fan of classic dance. Well the dancers that is, but that was ages ago, I’m an officer of the law. Well the werewolf law that is. Don’t hit me with that whip, I may have good morals I am still a werewolf, a creature of the night.” Fenril lighted a cigarette. “You don’t mind, do you?” Fenril took a long puff, the smoke looked more like vapor to Kokoro. “I’m not all that good with temperature regulation.” Fenril said. He was known as the Winter King, he could freeze a desert in the afternoon in a matter of seconds, he always was a barrier of freezing air. Even the water under his feet was freezing over. “I’m a friend, I’m not going to convince you to steal lives, I just got bored and Bone isn’t ready to fight me.”
“Isn’t ready?” Kokoro asked, confused.
“He’s not responsible enough, he does not have any drive. Not yet.” Fenril said. He lazily took his cigarette out of his mouth. “And yours?”
“Sety, I don’t know, Justice won’t let me touch her.”
“Justice huh? I can see that. He’s pretty odd.” Fenril laughed and put the cigarette back into his mouth. Kokoro just looked at him oddly. “I’m near immortal, this thing isn’t gonna kill me. Come on continue your dance.” Fenril stood back and Kokoro just sighed.
“You’re an odd one Fenril.”
“I know that, but I’m an officer, I can do what I want.” Fenril smiled from under his aviators and Kokoro started to dance once again and Fenril smiled and watched her. Forgetting once again about the bloodshed they were causing.
