Mood: Relieved
“Get away from him.” Once voice called out. It belonged to someone at least fifteen years of age, she was dressed in a strange robe that covered most of her upper body but not her stomach. Her lower body was bare except for a black piece of material and a golden plate covering her more feminine parts. She wore a blue metal headband that had some sort of seal on it. The head band had two horns coming up from the sides like she was a devil. Her demonic headdress was offset by her long dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Other than her strange attire, she looked like a normal girl but there was something about the air around her that seemed to convince otherwise. It was completely lifeless around her as if all that meet her will end up six feet under.
“He is not your priority.” The other one said. She had the face of a pale girl but she had pink eyes and short black hair that was blonde in its roots. The rest of her body was mechanical, pitch black, devoid of any light.
“You had your chance, he is my foe.” The girl with the blonde hair said again. Her voice was stern and unforgiving.
“You say he is your foe, but are you not in love with him?”
“I can say the same for you.”
“I do not deny my love for the lost lamb.” The mechanical girl stated as she drew a golden rod in the shape of a religious cross standing next to her.
“You believe he is a mere sheep, you disgrace his visage.”
“How so? He hides his face behind an obsidian mask. He has no visage to mock, but was it you that’s made him go down his path?” The mechanical girl started to walk away with staff in hand. The blonde girl leapt and stopped the other in her tracks. A giant sword with a face of a veiled woman on its hilt. The blade was much larger than her and was all in gold with spikes coming out where the guard was. The blonde girl had determination and a desire to kill in her deep round eyes. “Pathetic, your resolution to everything is violence. Is that truly how you want to die, by my hand?” The mechanical girl lifted her rod and brought it to the other girl’s face. The tension grew so thick that it would have to be cut with a saw.
“I am the artificial causality weapon Dizzy the Opera created by the god Nyarlathotep the god of the human’s subconscious, I am much stronger than you think.” The sword behind her shined and then surrounded Dizzy and she appeared with bladed arms, feet and eight free-floating swords behind her. The other girl put a mask over her face, it resembled a butterfly’s wings.
“I am Rose. I have no title but if it makes you happy then I shall tell you that I shall be the harbinger of your demise.” Rose drew her staff back and took on a fighting stance.
“Muerte artillero.” Dizzy sent out four bright blue probes that surrounded Rose.
“Really, you expect those to defeat me? You underestimate my power.” Rose swung her rod which shattered the probes.
“You underestimate me machine. Muerte artillero.” Dizzy said as even more probes were released, much higher numbers now as they concentrated around Rose.
“Childish, if it did not work the first time why try again?” Rose swung her rod again and the probes shattered before her. Dizzy then took the opportunity while Rose was distracted by the shattered probes to fly closer to Rose, sparks flying across the ground. The swords on her back then made a huge horizontal swing at Rose who instinctively blocked it. “You will not claim his heart with your treachery and deceit.” Rose stated as they tried to push each other to get the upper hand.
“And you shall not claim his by standing in the way of his destiny.”
“Who says it is not his destiny to become the beast of the apocalypse?” Rose threw her back and electricity jumped through her fingers. “From the bottom of my heart I sing of thee o warrior of death.” Rose chanted as the air behind her cracked and a white gloved hand stretched out with sword in hand.
“You summon the reaper of souls here?” Dizzy jumps back.
“I have no true intention of killing you, but if you continue to stand in my way, I shall incapacitate you even if you are an artificial causality weapon.” Rose said as the reaper appeared and let out a demonic roar. It was humanoid in appearance though its face was shrouded in darkness and he wore a skeletal mask that was shaped like the skull of a prehistoric beast. It rushed for Dizzy and grabbed her neck and forced her to the ground. Coffins chained to the reaper’s back opened and it began to drain her strength. “Now beg for mercy or your life shall end here.” Rose said as she held her fingers up as if to snap them.
“I concede.” Dizzy said and Rose made the reaper disappear. “But.” Dizzy stood up. “I shall test him with my power, not you with yours.” She started to walk away in miserable defeat.
“And when you are broken I shall take him for myself.” Rose said as she opened a portal and stepped through it. Dizzy hoped it was the last time she saw the mechanical maiden.
