You are number 6. (The day, that is)

Mood: Philosophical
“If light cannot exist without darkness, is darkness truly evil?” A young woman’s voice called out from the door.
“Excuse me?”
“That’s what your thinking, isn’t it, the one and only Dark Knight?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t, but you’re only fooling yourself.”
“Darkness is the power of destruction, it is the opposite of the holy powers of light.”
“You took the role of a dark knight voluntarily, you almost jumped for it. Why?” The voice drew in closer, it was a young girl no past the age of sixteen with shoulder length brown hair and sky colored eyes. She was dressed in foreign robes, with thin white bandages covering her chest and stomach. Her robes were rather colorful with shining reds and oranges, reminiscent of a blazing fire. The Dark Knight looked down, he was standing by a desk with his hands on the table. He wore a helmet on his head, but it was not like a normal knight’s helmet, it had horns pointing backwards and was made to look like a demon’s face. “A dark knight harnesses the negative forces of the universe, or in your case darkness.” The young girl circled behind him, she had a long sword strapped to her waist. “They sacrifice their life destroying all in their way, you always go into battle with the darkness trailing right behind you, claiming that it is an evil power, but you yourself are not evil.” She said shaking her finger.
“I took it so no one else should, darkness would consume their souls.” The Dark Knight turned around, his armor was completely black with dark red highlights, he had to wear this in order to strike fear in his opponents, to make them writhe in despair.
“What was the Dark Knight’s motto again?” The girl pondered. “Oh yes, my anger, my suffering is your loss. Funny isn’t it?” The young girl giggled. The Dark Knight gripped the desk with his iron clawed gloves. The atmosphere suddenly grew heavy as the Dark Knight surrounded himself with a black aura. “You don’t wear the darkness very well my friend.” She said as she tried to pull away the aura.
“You jest about the power of darkness? It is a power far more great than you can imagine, it seeps into your soul and if you let down your guard for a mere second it will take you over, you can never understand what it’s like to harness its power.” The Dark Knight clenched his fist and the aura flared more powerfully. The aura then started to shape itself and then started to look like a demon, much more than the Dark Knight himself. The figure roared at the girl who then put her hand instinctively by her sword. The Dark Knight then waved his hand and the aura dispersed. “That is the power of darkness.” The Dark Knight moved to pass the young girl but she grabbed his shoulder, the only part that was bare on his whole body, her hand was sweaty, he felt her fear, what she saw was his power, his frightening manipulation of evil caused her to shake in terror.
“I...” She could hardly get the words out of her mouth. “See... your point.” Her hand started to become cold and near lifeless. “But that doesn’t explain, why you chose it, I think you’re lying.” Her grip tightened.
“Like I said, you wouldn’t understand, even if I told you.” The Dark Knight swiped away her hand and walked out the door she entered. The girl drew her sword and pointed it to his throat.
“I may be your ally, your friend but if you don’t tell me now, I’ll cut you down.”
“What are you trying to get from me?” The Dark Knight turned around and started to yell, even though his face was hidden by his helm she could see the despair behind his eyes. “Can you not comprehend what being a Dark Knight is like? Evil is our nature, our only purpose is to destroy everything we see, we take no part in protecting others. We are made for the front lines of war.” The Dark Knight explained in a feverish tone. The girl then saw what the reason was.
“I see, you want to be a Dark Knight who protects others, you want to be the rare few who are able to be a for the lack of a better term knightly Dark Knight.” The girl proclaimed. The Dark Knight retreated his head, the girl put her sword back in her sheath. “So, is it because of anyone in particular, our army may be small, but there are certainly a lot of girls, oh you sly devil you.”
“That is certainly not the case!” The Dark Knight yelled, most definitely embarrassed by her comment. “Inconceivable.” He said shaking his head. She wrapped her arm around him.
“Oh come on, let’s go down, there are meetings to be had my young knight.”
