Day 45

Mood: Dizzy (not the character though)
“Deathscythe.” Echidna panted as she rushed up to the cloaked woman.
“Ja?” Deathscythe asked the girl, with all the intention of fighting and winning. Deathscythe had a lot of power and her power grew within her controlled space, the Haunted Library within the castle of darkness.
“We got to fight.”
“Ja.” Deathscythe had all the confidence in the world but not the resolve, not the ambition Echidna had. Deathscythe took out a long pole from her back and extended it. “Dunkelhite.” Deathscythe chanted and one side of the pole grew a long black and red scythe blade. With it she looked like the grim reaper, preparing for the kill. “Are you prepared?” Deathscythe raised her weapon and it glowed strongly and formed a circle around her feet. “Zis is my power. Show me yours.” Deathscythe announced and Echidna tousled her hair. She then clapped her hands together and put them to the velvet carpet.
“Transmute.” The floor started to jolt with electricity and the books on the book case then started to come to life. They floated through the air and opened and closed, Deathscythe noticed something odd about them, the pages shined, they became like metal.
“How is zat possible?” Deathscythe asked.
“I got a lot of magical materials to work with here, I just transmuted them into the books and used the souls of demons to bring them to life. Pretty simple huh?” Echidna asked.
“But that requires power beyond even mine to make that many demons submit.”
“Yah I had a little help from my friends.”
“Your friends?”
“Of course, they helped me, because that’s what friends do for each other.” Echidna slammed her mace into the ground. “Wanna start now?” A magical sign appeared under her and the books flew towards Deathscythe. The warrior of discord brought her scythe ready and cut through the first book, her dark magical energy which was the composition of the blade easily cut through the book. She then spun the scythe around and telekinetically moved it to slice through book after book while she launched blades of dark energy at the books and made them detonate. Echidna hit the ground again and the fragments of the books came together. “Would you like to try again?” The books continued their onslaught, Deathscythe was receiving no quarter. From under her  mask and hat she was sweating. Her blade tore through them but they kept being reformed thanks to the extra demon souls.
“I shall never surrender. I swear upon my honor.” Deathscythe increased her aura field and her scythe received an extra blade and increased heavily in size. “Infernal Deliverance.” Deathscythe then attacked again and the scythe produced a long shockwave which Echidna blocked with a stone wall protruding from the floor.
“Close one.” Echidna gasped. She then clapped her hands again and the books came to life once more and the candles on the wall threw fire at Deathscythe. Not seeing this her cloak started to burn. She threw it off to reveal a top with a large cross going from her neck, separating at her breasts and ending at her crotch. She wore long leggings and long iron gloves. Her costume now seemed extremely morbid.
“Releasing Armagus of the Accursed Wolf” A sigil appeared from her right hand that looked like a wolf being impaled by a cross. “Now you die!”
“This ends for you, not me!” Echidna said as she clapped her hands one last time and threw them onto the floor, a large transmutation circle appeared which she then lifted into the air and it looked as if a circular gate opened within it and a large ball of fire descended. “Sunburst!” Echidna shouted and a large ball of fire descended on Deathscythe. She attempted to guard the blow as it went against her scythe. She put the shaft to her head as it banged against her, causing her head to bleed. “Now you die!” Echidna brought her hands down and the orb of blaze crashed down and exploded. And then there was nothing.
