Mood: STAC LIVE!
“This is... the end!” Justice yelled and swung his blade at Adrian. Their swords clanged loudly and the air split apart. “Why are you fighting me?” With their swords colliding they started to run to the side of the throne room and restarted their attack. Each exchanged blows that blew a candelabrum of flames out in an instant. They were evenly matched although their styles greatly differed. Adrian’s style was very old fashioned while Justice’s had lots of flair and acrobatic kicks. Somehow their fighting caused inspiration, their battle was more of a beautiful dance of fury and competition. As their fight raged on, Adrian’s throne room became thrashed simply from the turbulence caused by the blows of their powerful swords.
“I need to test you, Dizzy is more formidable than you think.” Adrian jumped back and released three fireballs from his hands. “Hell fire!” Adrian chanted as the fire balls jumped forth.
“I don’t need your help, I know how to defeat her.” Justice cut the three fire balls in half and jumped at him. They clashed their blades more.
“I am not sure you know how to deal with her. Tetra Spirit!” Adrian put his hand to the ground and summoned four wisps of dark energy which honed in on Justice.
“Says you. Obsidian shield!” Justice formed a black shield around his body which absorbed the wisps. “Now. Soul Eater. Strength of anguish!” Justice fired a dark orb from inside the shield making it shatter but unleashing a surprise attack on the dhampir. Adrian turned into a cloud of mist and dodged the blow.
“Impressive but you are still very reckless, giving up your life force for a very unreliable technique.” Adrian said trying to look for Justice wondering where he disappeared.
“Oh, that? You think that one was a serious attack, oh no but this one is. Soul Eater!” Justice appeared from under Adrian and smashed an orb of darkness into his stomach which sent him flying backwards. “And now, the finisher. Screech Alpha!” Justice fired a shockwave with an eerie face on it which collided with Adrian and gave a loud scream which blew Adrian’s ears and heavily disoriented him. “Give up yet? Well if not, Gauntlet of Hades!” Justice created a large claw of darkness which grabbed Adrian and brought him directly to Justice who smashed him with his fist. Adrian fell to the floor panting. Adrian laughed and stood up.
“I think you’re ready to fight Dizzy, you sure have the zeal.”
“I’m not done yet with you.” Justice drew his sword.
“Of course not, and I see it. but your fight is not with me or mine with you, we shouldn’t be fighting like this, you know, you are strong. You have the right intentions and although you use darkness, you use it for the good and that is something to admire.”
“Darkness for good just like you Adrian? A dhampir who fights for the human race?”
“Yes indeed.”
“I see, so I’m not the only one. I can’t be scared.”
“You can be scared but courage is facing your fears and conquering them, it’s not being absent of them can you find true valor.”
“I get it.”
“Of course you do.”
“Thank you.” Justice bowed.
“No need to be formal with me, I am not the prince of darkness you know.” Adrian chuckled. “Now go on, you have a battle to win.” Adrian motioned to Justice
“Why are you doing this for me? What do you gain from this?” Justice asked.
“Something you will understand in years to come Justice, in years to come.” Adrian said and Justice nodded and walked away. “Even in vampire lore a son always surpasses their father.” Adrian started to shed a tear but quickly wiped it away, something he hasn’t done for centuries. “I have grown soft. Such tender feelings I have now, but I suppose there is a time in everyone’s life where they grow weak. Now is my time.”
