Mood: STAC Live is over so now I will crash
“Faye-Ling!” Elf called out to the zombie within the ancient temple. Standing on a large stone pedestal with a pink lotus drawn on it was the girl herself practicing her martial arts with great fervor. “It’s time to fight.” Elf jumped onto the pedestal, her robes swaying in the wind.
“Is that a pun, time. Well I have all the time in the world to clobber you.” Faye-Ling smirked and a small cyclone surrounded Faye-Ling. They had a long dramatic moment, though normally Elf would cower at any sign of Faye-Ling preparing for combat. Faye-Ling’s sinister look however did not affect Elf in any way, Elf crossed her eyes and stuck out her tongue.
“Try me.” Elf stabbed her rod onto the stone.
“Well don’t mind if I do. Now Bai-Hu, the White Tiger!” Faye-Ling’s gloves glowed white and an image of a white tiger appeared in the hole where her heart was. Faye-Ling used the turbulence of the wind she was stirring as a propulsion system and went to crash into Elf. At near supersonic speeds Faye-Ling tackled but for some reason Faye-Ling ended up crashing into a wall and dropped into the lake under the pedestal. When she realized this odd occurrence, Faye-Ling smashed her fists together creating a sphere of air pressure and jumped out of the water back onto the pedestal. She looked for Elf and saw her behind where Faye-Ling was originally standing.
“Wow, you were way off.” Elf commented and hit the ground with her rod where Faye-Ling was standing.
“Crap...” Faye-Ling whispered to herself. “You were lucky, this time, it won’t be on your side. Zhu-Que the Vermillion Bird!” Faye-Ling’s gloves glowed red and an image of a red bird appeared in the hole in her heart. She made a series of martial arts movements and the flames from torches surrounding the pedestal jumped up and converged on Elf. The smoldering fireball expanded and caused a large explosion. Faye-Ling smiled. “That shows you.” Faye-Ling tousled her red hair in the wind and looked to the sky in triumph, until she felt a knocking on her shoulder.
“That shows who what?” Elf asked, her body not even touched. Faye-Ling immediately took action and slid backwards. “Wow, aren’t you rude?” Elf remarked with her rod in her hand.
“How the hell... I saw you get consumed by the flames.”
“Oh really, well I’m just fine. Look no smoke or anything.” Elf commented turning around showing her robes.
“You’re doing something.” Faye-Ling backflipped. “Xuan Wu, the Black Tortoise!” Faye-Ling’s gloves turned black and the hole in her heart displayed an image of a tortoise with a tail that looked like a snake’s head. “And I’m sure as hell going to find out.” Faye-Ling raised her hands up and multiple large boulders emerged from the ground.
“Oh gravity, I can play that game too.” Elf pointed her rod to all the boulders and they crashed into the water. “You know gravity is the weakest force in the universe thus it is easy to manipulate, it can keep rocks down but look...” Elf bent down and picked up a small pebble. “I can pick up this tiny little stone like its nothing, see I’m defying gravity. Cool huh?” Elf explained as her ginger colored locks bounced with her every move.
“You got to be kidding me.”
“No, I’m not and now welcome to my world.” Elf twirled her rod quickly and smacked it into the ground and the pedestal cracked and in fact everything started to crack. The water, the fire, the earth, the metal and even the sky cracked until everything broke apart and revealed another plain. It was just a white floor with giant clock gears in the background against a blue sky. “It’s the cosmic lagoon. Pretty huh? Well you see life is like one big movie!” Elf raised her hands to the sky and the gears started to move.
“What do you mean by that?”
“Time is made up of cosmic film, and this exists between one film and the next. A place where I am stronger than you are. Because here is where I belong. I got to fight you, no matter what. Everyone else is fighting, so why can’t I?” Elf’s hair started to flow outwards, giving a new sinister glare of her own.
“I will beat you. Releasing Armagus!” Faye-Ling shouted but her power wouldn’t activate. “What’s going on, Releasing Armagus! RELEASING ARMAGUS!” She tried repeatedly to summon her powers but for some reason they wouldn’t come to her. “What did you do to my armagus?” Faye-Ling shouted. “Unleashing grimoire of the red murderer!” Faye-Ling screamed on the top of her lungs and fell to the ground and smashed her fist on the white puffy ground.
“You can’t because I’m reversing time on you before you do it, right before you activate it I’m cutting out the film and editing it so you can never do it while you’re in here. And now, I will show you the power that I gained. It’s my time. Magic Hour!” A large glowing analog clock appeared on the ground. “Goodbye Faye-Ling, he has someone else now. So hands off my friends!” Elf smashed her rod on the ground and the glowing clock’s hands spun rapidly and then shattered. The pieces then converged on Faye-Ling creating a vortex. “His heart is his own, not yours. You lost yours with no hope of getting it back, not even time can change your state now.” Elf said and the vortex imploded. Faye-Ling fell to the ground.
“Impossible, I have my armagus. My precious armagus.” Faye-Ling muttered with the last of her life.
“You don’t have to prove yourself to him anymore, he’s moved on. He’s thankful for you but you just got to believe in him now.” Elf walked toward her destined enemy and fell to her knees. “So, stop it. You’re still a girl aren’t you?” Elf then put Faye-Ling’s head on her lap. “He asked me to do this for him. He cares deeply for you but you got to go now, you don’t belong here.” Elf said and Faye-Ling chuckled.
“He said that?” She asked.
“Of course.” Elf nodded.
“Thank you, that was just what I needed.” Faye-Ling closed her eyes
“It was for the best, and it was.” Elf said and moved Faye-Ling’s hair out of her face. Faye-Ling smiled and then light ran over her feet and she started to disintegrate into the light. All that was left of her were her gloves, now colorless and lifeless and the sphere that was her heart. Elf took it into her hands and cradled it like a baby but even that vanished but it left words in the sky. It read
“What lies in your soul is truth.”
