Mood: Pain, so much pain
Justice awoke and darkness surrounded him, there was no sky, only darkness. For a second he thought he was dead but it was impossible. He looked down and saw that he was standing on top of a glowing tile which was a part of a giant glowing cerulean circle. He went down to feel it and knocked on it and noticed that there was much beneath it. He walked to the edge and leaned over and saw that it was a long pillar with windows of stained glass going down farther than the eye could see. “Where am I?” Justice walked backwards and examined his surroundings. He walked across the platform and saw an image, it was him without his helmet looking like he was lying in a hammock with his weapon in hand. Justice gasped and examined the strange place more. He saw an image of a series of red mountains and swords plunged into the ground. There were circles added to the design with crosses among other things within them. “What is this place?” Justice walked back and then in an explosion of darkness on the other side a figure appeared. Justice instinctively called his weapon to appear and held it forward.
“This is your station of awakening, this is your soul.” The figure spoke, upon closer examination he was from head to toe in elaborate silver armor. Upon his head sat a horned helmet that kept his eyes in the shadows. He wore a long black cape and his armor clanged when he moved. In his left hand was two swords attached to each other creating a spear like weapon.
“Who are you?” Justice asked.
“Who I am is not important, I have come here to test you, you pitiful dog.” The mysterious armored stranger held his sword towards Justice.
“Dog?”
“If you defeat me in combat, you shall return to your world.”
“That’s it?”
“It is more difficult than you might think.” The armored man said and Justice started to charge forward, his sword turned backwards. He made a quick swipe, faster than the eye could see but the man instantly guarded it with his finger. “I believe I have made my point, now are you ready, for this battle you may call me Iustitia.” The man said and created a shockwave around him and Justice was blown away. Justice landed safely on his feet.
“Was that an attack or was he just getting ready for battle, dammit I don’t know, I got to win.” Justice said to himself and he charged forward again. “Gauntlet of Hades!” Justice’s free hand turned into a giant black claw and stretched forward.
“Vortex of Judgment.” Iustitia spun his blades in front of him and it created a giant cyclone which then tore the claw to shreds.
“You got to be kidding me.” Justice said as he slid forward and performed a upward thrust. Iustitia blocked the attack again with his hand. Justice jumped back before the man could perform another counter. “Damn you. Inferno Divider!” Justice slammed his sword into the ground and a pillar of black flames ran to Iustitia.
“Sentence.” Iustitia cleaved through the dark flames and stood unscathed. “You do not hold the power of true darkness, you must know true despair.” Iustitia twirled his weapon, breaking apart any of the dark flames on it left.
“Shut up, I know true despair. I’ll show it to you. Dead Spike!” Justice took an orb of darkness and grabbed it and turned it into a long black spike and threw it at Iustitia. The armored man guarded it and held it as the blast persisted. “Good, now perish!” Justice made another attack and Iustitia knocked away the blast and parried Justice’s attack. They exchanged blows so quickly that the air started to rend and the ground shook beneath their feet. Though Justice kept up the blows Iustitia was simply toying with him.
“Let me finish this. Hatred!” The man sent out another shockwave sending Justice flying. “Catch this, if you can.” Iustitia then threw his sword at Justice.
“Obsidian Shield.” Justice created a black field around him and the blade broke through shattering it. Justice fell to the ground and the sword returned to its rightful ownder.
“Are you ready to give up now?” Iustitia’s voice rang out. Justice stood up, blood coming out of his helmet. Justice then realized he had all his armor was on, he wasn’t defenseless and then he became powered.
“I was about to ask you the same. Soul Eater!” Justice created two orbs of darkness and ran to Iustitia. He then started to teleport quickly, creating a series of illusions. “Catch me if you can.” Justice continued to flicker away bit by bit and Iustitia attacked everything he saw but couldn’t find him.
“Come out coward!” Iustitia yelled. The response he got was a snigger.
“Oh I wasn’t hiding.” Justice reappeared in front of Iustitia and slammed a conjoined soul eater in Iustitia’s stomach. Iustitia was sent rolling back his armor causing sparks. “Come on, you can’t be done just yet.” Justice said, he felt so good, so good in fact he didn’t feel the pain that came after a soul eater.
“I shall never surrender to a little dog like you.” Iustitia said and created a giant golden aura around him. A shape appeared in the aura, it was that of a giant demon head. It made a loud roaring sound and caused Justice to step back.
“Oh I see, this is getting interesting.” Justice smiled from under his helmet. They ran for each other and performed a loud confrontational blow. There then was silence and then a loud cracking sound. “No... Impossible.” Justice looked back his helmet broken and shattered.
