Mood: Scared
“The war rages on, but who will be the victor, harmony or chaos. Neither is good or evil. Isn’t that how you see it as well?” A voice belonging to a man asked with a philosophical tone. After a long silence he then started to whistle. By his side stood a woman in a white dress, her body was glowing and her blonde hair flowed through the wind.
“What brings you to my realm Iscariot? Do you wish to gloat about the destruction you have wreaked this world.” The woman started to step away, annoyed at the man’s presence. The man looked as if he was twenty despite having pure white hair and blood red eyes. He hid chin stubble under the collar of a sleeveless red shirt with two long coattails. He wore long black gloves that went up to his elbows that were decorated with metal buckles. His pants were black and baggy and wore steel tipped boots.
“Why would I do that, what kind of almighty being do you think I am?” Iscariot got up from his hunched over position and walked to his female friend. “I’m only here to talk about the future.” Iscariot pointed out, making his intentions clear.
“Explain yourself, we both know of the future.” The lady said as she stopped, yet her body still glowed. Iscariot snickered.
“Selena, the white mage, how is she faring against Schrodinger?” Iscariot asked and the glowing lady’s eyes expanded. Iscariot snickered again. “That’s what I thought Eden. Schrodinger is going to use her as the vessel for the true Beast of the Apocalypse.” Iscariot raised his arms to the sky.
“How could I not see this before?” Eden brought her hand to her mouth. She bit down on her index finger, most probably out of stress. “But your claim does not make sense, Justice is the Beast of the Apocalypse, he has been corrupted and has let it take over him once.” Eden brought this fact to the attention of Iscariot.
“That was not the true Beast of the Apocalypse, Rose has it inside her and let it seep into his soul, but he only has had a little taste of it. The Beast of Apocalypse needs a soul of pure light for it to take over, not one seeped in darkness.” Iscariot started to laugh.
“Impossible, you bluff.” Eden roared the light around her grew in intensity. Iscariot shielded his eyes.
“Oh baby, I don’t bluff, I only speak the truth. And when he’s done with everyone he’s coming after us sweet cheeks.” Iscariot rubbed his chin stubble.
“And you are not afraid?”
“I am discord, I love this kind of shit, goes well with my morning coffee or whatever humans drink nowadays.” Iscariot grinned. He clearly was enjoying what was going on around him.
“If he controls the Beast of the Apocalypse, he will rule over everything, life death, fate, even reality itself will be rewritten to his liking.”
“So someone should put him in his place.”
“Like who? We have no power over them.”
“But you have another bunch of warriors able enough to kill the thing.”
“And your soldiers?”
“They’ll be sent back to their original realms, they won’t win, only Schrodinger will prevail.”
“Why only him?”
“Because he knows how to beat her.”
“And that is?”
“I can’t tell you, I don’t even know myself.” Iscariot snapped his fingers and a lollipop came into existence. “Want a sucker. It will relieve the stress.” Iscariot offered and Eden shook her head. “Suit yourself, more for me.” Iscariot put the red piece of candy in his mouth.
“Why did you tell me this?”
“I don’t know, I was bored, wanted to mess with your head a bit, have some discord running around in your mind.” Iscariot made motions with his hand signifying chaos.
“You are childish.”
“Yeah but you’re the one who has agreed to having this war.”
“But you are wrong.”
“We’re both wrong you dumb broad.”
“Watch your mouth Iscariot.”
“But it’s true, we can not live without a balance of order and chaos.” Iscariot took the lollipop out of his mouth.
“So you are saying that this war shall never end.”
“No, your warriors will definitely win.”
“So you admit defeat.”
“No, it solely depends on their actions.”
“How?”
“Humans are the most resilient creatures in the world and by themselves they have the power to change the future, much more so than gods who simply watch or their dolls.” Iscariot put the lollipop back into his mouth. “So it depends on their mood how this war ends.”
“You are utterly confusing me Iscariot.”
“That’s the point sweet cheeks.” Iscariot bit down and the candy shattered in his mouth. “Well I’m going now. I got to check on my bunch of morons. You should check yours especially Jems. She’ll be very useful.”
“How, she is but a small child.”
“Trust me on this one babe. I love you.” Iscariot stated as he disappeared in a cloak of shadow.
“Such a brazen thing.” Eden said as she noticed her cheeks becoming red.
