ACT I
Scene 1
The sky is black, but is not night because it is not in this world, it is in the mind of a young boy, there are two figures. One is a young man wearing a white shirt, light blue jeans and a velvet blazer. His hair is long and curly, reminiscent of a lion's mane. The other is an older man in his early forties who looks almost identical to the young man if it weren't for two scars that go up on his left cheek. They were both standing on a circular platform made of stained glass. The image on the glass platform was of the young man holding a sword with his eyes closed as if he was sleeping.
VERGIl
Hi Dad.
Lazarus
Hi son
VERGIL
What brings you to The Station of Awakening?
LAZARUS
I'm dead, I can go where I want, I am not restricted from my son's dreams.
VERGIL
Yes I know, so why are you here?
Lazarus
It seems that you have found a new family
VERGIL
Oh, that.
LAZARUS
I'm happy for you Verg. My son is growing up quite nicely. You definitely got my charm.
VERGIL
Hopefully I don't have your brains.
LAZARUS
Yikes, low blow son, low blow.
VERGIL
So you're talking about STAC.
Lazarus
It seems that you are really happy now.
VERGIL
Yah. They're my new family now. And I promise myself I won't let any harm come to them.
lazarus
Looks like you got another one of my characteristics
VERGIL
And that would be?
Lazarus
Devotion. You know who is important to you.
VERGIL
Is that so?
LAZARUS
Definitely. Your sense of duty is strong, it's a blood trait.
VERGIL
It's not like duty. I love them all because it's how I truly feel and they deserve all I can offer. And I can offer them my blade and shield.
LAZARUS
You're way too old-fashioned son.
VERGIL
Says you. But I love my fellow STACies, they're the best thing that has happened to me.
LAZARUS
I'm happy for you. I really am, so any cute girls?
Vergil
Hey... Well all of them are good looking, beautiful. A day doesn't go by when I notice how pretty they are.
LAZARUS
You should always surround yourself with beautiful women.
VERGIL
I do, and I'm happy
LAZARUS
I can see that
VERGIL
Dad?
Lazarus
Yes?
VERGIL
Thank you, for deciding to give us up. If it wasn't for you and my mom's sacrifice I wouldn't be here so I am eternally grateful.
Lazarus
No problem, you deserved a better life.
VERGIL
I won't let them down. I got something to prove while I'm still alive. I want to be immortalized in STAC. I want to do something special. These guys deserve it more than anything else. They are what matters most because in my life I won't find anyone like them.
Lazarus
I believe you son and you should do your best. Live up to your reputation... Vergilius Iustitia Mercurius Lecarde.
VERGIL

Between you and me, they're lucky to have someone as dignified, compassionate and handsome as you.
VERGIL

Lazarus disappears into thin air in a flash of light only leaving a long red forked spear with an angel and demon wing design at the end of the shaft. This is the Lecarde Spear, a weapon that has been passed down from generation to generation, a testament of their valor and perservearance.
VERGIL
It is my time, to step into the light, once and for all.
