Day 28

Mood: Okay
“So how did the fight go?” Schrodinger asked holding up a tarot card. The tarot card was number zero, the fool, symbolizing the need to start over again. He already knew what had happened in the battle but he simply liked to infuriate his comrades. He was the god of conquest and thus laughed at another person’s failures.
“You already know, miserable harlequin.” Rose said as she passed him while walking.
“Let me guess, you used the savior on them? Oh, it would have been a smart choice if fate was not on their side that day.” Schrodinger stated as the card in his hand changed from the Fool to the Wheel of Fortune.
“Are you saying that they survived because of luck?” Rose swiftly turned around and drew her hammer to Schrodinger’s neck. He smiled, and the card changed again to the Empress.
“Lady Luck and Madame Misfortune conspire together you know.” Schrodinger said. “Now would you please remove that hideous weapon from my throat or else very bad things will happen to you.” Schrodinger said as five cards floated above Rose’s head. “One brainwave can cause them to pierce your head and destroy your little cranium. Pretty gruesome huh?” Schrodinger chuckled. One side of his face was hidden by a white opera face while the other side was half covered by a purple skin tight fabric that brought out his left yellow eye. His hair was unruly and blood red and seemed to go off in every direction. He wore a long red dress shirt with a maroon vest and long black boots. If anything he looked like a jester. He flipped his scarf sleeves aside as he continued to threaten her. “And you need to kill that Jems girl don’t you? Do I sense jealousy because she has your precious Justice?” He asked as the card changed into the Lovers. Rose put down her hammer and the cards above her dispersed in a flash of red light.
“Enough with your mind games. You are no different from Gig.”
“Don’t equate me to that gibbering nihilist.” Schrodinger said in disgust.
“I will equate you to whoever I want.”
“This coming from the girl who was a mere half a second away of being decapitated. You certainly do not know your place, or shall I remind you?” Schrodinger as he swept his hand in the air and multitudes of cards began to spin around him wildly.
“Try me, I’m ready for you.” Rose said as her chest compartment opened and cards hanging on hooks began to rotate.
“You’re going to use a persona... on me?” Schrodinger began to laugh uncontrollably. “You think a persona is going to work on me? I am a god, not a vampire or werewolf. They will not even think about fighting against me. You are really nothing but a child. Fine then, show me what you can manage.” Schrodinger spread out his arms. Rose grabbed one of the cards and it glowed in a red light.
“From the bottom of my heart I sing, I summon the master of strings, play your melody and bring upon redemption.” Rose said as a magic seal appeared behind her and out of it appeared a creature with the face of a human with the body of a mechanical puppet holding a large white lyre.
“A musician, play me a tune please?” Schrodinger asked with a smirk coercing the spirit.
“Now I want you to sing.” Rose ordered and the figure put the lyre on his back and opened his mouth revealing a glowing red hole. Schrodinger peered at it because no sound was coming out of its mouth. He then smiled and thought it was a fluke until he heard a powerful boom coming from the monster’s stomach that revealed a stereo speaker which fired a sonic boom cannon. Schrodinger flew back but expanded the size of a card and landed safely upon it. “Now do you believe that you are insignificant?” Rose asked and the string master disappeared. “Weak scum.” Rose said as she opened a portal to the darkness and stepped through it. Silence lingered in the air
“Magnificent, simply magnificent. What great power, I need to utilize it, but how?” Schrodinger chuckled which led to a maniacal laughter. He then started to concoct a plan, a plan that would shake the boundaries of that world and every world for that matter.
