Day 22

Mood: Relieved
“Faye-Ling!”
“Tsubak!” The two warriors of discord called out to each other as they clashed in mid-air. Faye-Ling used to be a young girl who was brought back by dark magics to find her true love, but her methods were anything but conventional. She found everything in her path to be a hindrance and was always using her power to the fullest of her ability. She was a liability in battle due to her cases of blind rage. So much in fact that the god of destruction himself had to send his artificial causality weapon Tsubaki to stop her. Faye-Ling and Tsubaki were two very different people, Faye-Ling was impulsive while Tsubaki was subservient and they naturally butted heads. The battle between them erupted when Tsubaki begun to throw knives at Faye-Ling who deflected them with a large high pressure sphere of air. Faye-Ling was experienced in Chinese Kung-fu and where pressure points were in the human body and started her assault. She slammed her palm into Tsubaki’s solar plexus, although an artificial life, could still be considered human and thus felt the air being stolen from her lungs. Faye-Ling than grabbed Tsubaki’s shoulders, flipped above her and knocked her down with a powerful kick in the chest. She plummeted from the sky and landed on top of the ice in the arctic field around them. She gagged and coughed black blood, the fluid that kept her going as an artificial causality weapon. She wiped her face and saw above that Faye-Ling was descending with her fist outstretched. Tsubaki pulled up a wall of knives in front of her which intercepted the fist but cracked the ice around her because of the pressure. Tsubaki then threw all the knives and Faye-Ling created another barrier around, keeping her from harm’s way.
“I will not let you get in my way.” Faye-Ling expanded the barrier which repelled all the knives and she then dived again using air from the palms of her hands as thrusters.
“For the sake of master Gig I must stop you here.” Tsubaki formed more knives and threw them again at Faye-Ling but at the speed she was traveling, the knives were deflected without any sort of resistance. Faye-Ling drew an ‘x‘ in mid-air which created two giant shockwaves. Knowing that she could not dodge it Tsubaki moved out of its path. Though successfully escaping the blast she was knocked back by the turbulence caused by the blow. Faye-Ling somersaulted onto the ground.
“Forget that stupid god, he has no power over my decisions and neither do you so prepare yourself.” Faye-Ling’s hands glowed red and showed the image of a bird, which made her hands be set ablaze.
“The four celestial beasts are on your side, why do you use it to destroy everything in your sight?” Tsubaki drew five knives in her long pale hands.
“Zhu Que the Vermillion Bird, holy element of fire. With it I shall crush you.” Faye-Ling moved her hand in a wide arc and released a blaze of fire coming straight towards Tsubaki. She retaliated by throwing her blades at the fire which simply melted. Tsubaki then ran forward and performed a roll under the pillars of flame and threw knives again. “Is your only talent throwing knives?” Faye-Ling’s hands and feet then started to glow with an eerie black light. She stomped on the ground and stalagmites of earth surrounded her through the icy ground. Tsubaki reacted at super human speed and jumped off the spikes of death. “I am the perfect offense and defense, you can’t hope to beat me.” The stalagmites descended and Faye-Ling took another kung-fu stance and her arms then started to glow blue.
“I must, it is for master Gig.” Tsubaki’s knives also started to glow and she threw three at the same time. Faye-Ling caught the knives expertly. “
Qing Long, guardian of the east and holy element of metal.” Faye-Ling smirked but Tsubaki grinned. She put her hands together and shot up her index finger and middle finger with both hands.
“Burn-out.” Tsubaki whispered and the knives glowed and then detonated in Faye-Ling’s hand, too quick for her to react. Unfortunately the blow did little damage to Faye-Ling.
“You can’t stop me, ever. Love is always a hurricane! Bai-Hu guardian of the North and element of wind!” Faye-Ling’s hands glowed white and she shot a giant cyclone from her hands directly at Tsubaki. She stumbled to the ground and fell unconscious cursing herself for her weakness and Faye-Ling just walked away, almost in triumph.
