Mood: Out of it
“This certainly does not bode well.” a sarcastic voice belonging to a young lady called out from the darkness.
“Oh hush, it’s not like this is my fault.” An aggravated voice from an even younger girl called out.
“We should’ve stuck together, I can’t see in this darkness.” The first voice complained.
“Well Maybell why don’t you use your magic to make things brighter?” The younger voice asked.
“I don’t have any fire magic like Zeiss or Sety, what about you, you useless magician?”
“I’m a time mage, I control the time space continuum, I can’t make fireworks.”
“Can’t you call down a meteor or something?”
“A meteor, where? And if I did that wouldn’t it you know, alert the enemy?”
“Excuse me for trying to think of a solution. I can’t tell where are we, and how do we know we’re not just blind and stupid?” Maybell sighed and stopped moving. her ally then hit the floor with her staff.
“Judging by the feel of the ground, it seems that we got blasted into the hollow of a mountain or an inactive volcano.” She knocked the area around with her staff.
“So we can’t shoot a meteor down here Elf?” Maybell asked again.
“No, we can’t. I can’t draw one from down here. What if you try and blow something up?” Elf asked and stopped hitting the inside with her rod
“My blue magic might work, but it might also make it cave in. Speaking of which, why is it that there are tunnels in a mountain in a world without any native inhabitants?” Maybell wondered and Elf stopped where she was.
“How am I supposed to know, harmony and discord created this world, they’ll do with it as they see fit. Come on let’s keep moving.” Elf started to walk again. They continued walking for a few minutes trying to think of ideas to escape from their rocky tombs.
“I wish someone with magic was here.” Maybell complained again.
“You know we are two of the only mages here.”
“Yah, but the most useless.”
“We are not useless, come on.”
“But it’s so dark.”
“Air couldn’t get out of this either!” Elf snapped referring to their green mage, one who has the ability to manipulate nature but wouldn’t be able to light up the dark.
“But Zeiss and Sety could.” Zeiss and Sety were a back and red mage respectively, they would be able to light up the dungeon with a simple fire spell. “And even Selena.” Selena as a white mage could definitely shine a light in the abysmal darkness. “Even someone like Justice could help. He loves places like these.”
“AHHHH! Stop or I’ll bring down a meteor on your head!” Elf yelled and started waving her staff around. “Or do you want me to use gravity to squish your body?” Elf said manically, losing her mind. Elf then hit part of a wall and realized it was hollow and light. She hit it again, her mad rage ceasing. “Wait, I feel something, Maybell it’s a way out!” Elf said as she started hitting it harder with her rod. “Come on, we’re going home... kinda!” Elf sang and continued hitting it with the intent of shattering the wall. Maybell sighed and shoved Elf aside.
“I got this. From the wolfkind I call upon their power to Screech.” Maybell put her hands over her mouth and then stared to scream which caused the rocks to break revealing a path to the outside.
“And you thought we were useless.” Elf said looking at the gaping hole in the mountain. Elf looked out and saw that they were a long way from the bottom. A few hundred feet in fact. “Wow, that’s a long way down, I don’t suppose you can grow wings?” Elf laughed.
“Oh boy, what a story we will tell.” Maybell said and Elf nodded.
